 I wanted to shoot someone I'm very familiar with from a view that I'm not.

This is my better half taken while she was on a sun lounger.

Thanks for all the comments on it. I have been told about a yellow cast on the pic which, on my laptop, does not show at all. However when checking it on a CRT monitor it looked amazingly yellow - whoops!

I missed voting on the challenge, but this is a great image. Good graphic quality and maybe a little social comment about where our attention is focused.

Unusual perspective. Works well as sort of an abstract. Being a guy tho, I definitely know what this is :) Good selective focus. NIce idea and good execution 8

yow. hot picture. love the depth - nice and crisp onthe 'subject' with a little blur on the nose and J-Lo glasses. a wee bit off centre on the face, but that's tough when you're looking down to be sure it's from straight above. nice job

Not very flattering... mainly down to the yellow colour cast. The glasses and nose are either not blurred enough, or not clear enough... either way, it needs to look more deliberate. Other than that, humourous picture, very cheeky! The black in the top corners works well. 6

Interesting angle, good subject matter, perhaps depth of field could have been greater, however it does throw a different aspect to the subject. Its a cool shot.
