::: Greetings from Critique Club :::

Hi, as requested, here is an indepth critique of your submission.

First Impression - the most important one:
Nice texture and lighting. Very well exposed.

Composition:
Composition isn't this photos strongest point. The choice of crop feels a bit crowded for my tastes.

Subject:
Discussing subject is sorta pointless for this photo as the texture and shapes of the "columns" are more the subject than the colums themselves I feel. That said, you did well at emphasizing the shape and texture.

Technical (Color, focus, and light):
Color: natural and well balanced.
Focus, sharp as a tack as far as I can tell.
Light, excellent.

To grow its vote?:
Tough challenge, but I feel the crowded composition may have hurt you some. And for many this photo probably didn't provide much "wow". DPC voters love some sort of wow factor.

Summary:
Very nice light study. I really like your choice of angle to capture the lighting.

Hope to see more from you soon,
Leroy

Almost looks like a line of pregnant women. Very graceful curves. I like the pattern and DOF. Nice the way the light plays here making the highlights and shadows bring out the curves.
