Greetings from the Critique Club...
If you request a critique from the critique club, you should always fill out your 'Photographer's Comments' field when you submit your photo. When you don't include your own thoughts on the image, you can't really expect someone else to give their time and effort to give you a critique. It makes me think that you don't care enough about your own photo to take the time to post your thoughts on it...
This photo scored rather well, but I don't think it's the greatest scene for a black and white. The sky and the water both blend into a rather dull gray. The boat does stand out fairly well against this but I think it could be stronger. A polarizer (if not already used) would likely improve this contrast...

Very well focused and sharp image with great depth of field. I love the way the shape of the clouds stand out with three dimentional form. My compliments. |

I like the way you used mostly the red channel to make the clouds stand out, what a lovely sky. Boat seems a bit boring though, and a little too near the centre of the frame to make this feel dynamic. I'd have thought about zooming out, getting loads more sky and put the boat right at the edge of the frame. |

This is so nice - it makes me feel happy just to look at it! This is just the right shade of duotone for this scene. Great job. |
