Nice composition and contrast. I like the shape of the evergreen. The snow adds a nice touch t othe composition. Snow is a tad bright in some areas.

EXCELLENT photo. It has an almost pencilled-drawing feel to it.

The whites are way too bright and it appears to be oversharpened.

I've never tried to take a photograph like this, but I imagine the snow makes it awfully difficult to get the exposure and subsequently the tonal control right. You seem to have done both perfectly. I admit I normally have little interest in this kind of photography, but this is so beautifully executed that I must give it an 8.

(By "this kind of photography" I don't mean to be insulting; it's just that such images seem to me to be more about the photographer than the subject. That's likely my problem, and not yours!)

Great detail on the pine, but it was at the expense of good exposure on the snow. Maybe if you could get a neutral density filter, the highlights would be less blown out.
