| Nice composition and contrast. I like the shape of the evergreen. The snow adds a nice touch t othe composition. Snow is a tad bright in some areas. |

I've never tried to take a photograph like this, but I imagine the snow makes it awfully difficult to get the exposure and subsequently the tonal control right. You seem to have done both perfectly. I admit I normally have little interest in this kind of photography, but this is so beautifully executed that I must give it an 8.
(By "this kind of photography" I don't mean to be insulting; it's just that such images seem to me to be more about the photographer than the subject. That's likely my problem, and not yours!) |

| Great detail on the pine, but it was at the expense of good exposure on the snow. Maybe if you could get a neutral density filter, the highlights would be less blown out. |
