Really disappointed with where this finished. If it's any consolation I like yours better than my entry, which finished 30th.

Very nice! At first I thought that being "upside down" added to the power of the image. After all, a shot from directly above doesn't really have a natural orientation and the way you put them helps say that they are drained and empty.
But the shot is actually not from directly above; you can see the bottom of one of the bottles. I rotated the image 180 degrees and found that it looks more natural.
In any case, I like it either way. |

I think its slightly underexposed, also try rotating the photo so the bottles point up. Other than that I like it, a nice blue tone, very moody. |

The glass is beautiful, your lighting works really wel here. The tones are my favorite part. Very fitting!! |

Very clever composition as well as sympathetic toning and processing. The idea expressed by the soil and the title lifts this above the run-of-the mill bottle studies. 8. |

I think this would have worked better had you not rotated it. It makes the bottles look like they are falling. |
