| Just the flag or just the ribbon would have been a lesser shot, putting the two together makes a great image. This shows how we embrace our heritage and honor those who have fallen to keep us free. 8 -danny |

| I'm not really moved much by American patriotism, which is to be expected, given that I'm not American... but I do think this image is nicely done - an unusual close focus rather than showing most of a flag waving in the breeze - and the curve of the ribbon really gives a great focal point. |

| Although I feel I see too many American flags in challenges (no disrespect), that at the same time confirms patriotism is a trend. I think your picture is exceptionally well done. The composition, the fine detail, the placement of the ribbon, the low light, the shadows, depth of field. Can't think of anything to improve. 10 points from me. |
