 This ball is from our Spring softball league this year. I really didn't want to go so cliche' for the Round challenge, but this ball had so much character! And, well, my batting average for the Spring season was .914. Not too shabby!

You've taken a very simple subject and made it into a work of art! Though I think the image could use some thing more of interest in it, such as a baseball glove or cap, I like the close up and detail you've been able to capture and also like the DOF and the color of the background goes very well with the ball. Nice job.

The lighting is good and the DOF chosen adds interest having the stitches go off into a blurred background.

I think it are the colors and the shades that have me in their grasp. Well balanced composition. I love it.

Not very original, but a perfect lighting and composition. The light really brings out the structure. Very good.
