- adjusted histogram
- clarify
- created copy layer, lightened this second layer using curves, blurred with gaussian blur and blended with original layer in overlay
- darkened bottom left area a bit with burn tool
- cloned out a couple hot pixel like imperfections
- resized
- sharpened and saved

Very nice rendition with pleasing colors of cool shades to accent the beautiful red/yellow burst. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

Thank you. It's one of those plastic multicoloured things sold at dollar stores that people hang outside or on their porches, to twirl in the wind.

Excellent use of oight and coulour. I love the variance of the colours on the fan vs the backdrop, you've almost got a full spectrum going there. The motion blur on the fan spoils it a little.
