This is probably a love it or hate it photo.
I like it, so who cares.
Quite a bit of work with colour, colour temp and saturation, first in C1, then in PS. The ice in the BG got almost a little too yellow for my taste, but I really like the warmth of this. Unfortunately a few hues and details were lost in the translantion to 150k, please increase the limit to 200k.
Shot straight into the setting sun and wonderful golden light.
Adult whooper swan, and some black headed seagulls in the FG.
After the challenge I'll borrow my bro's big A3 printer and print this out, and take into consideration comments and pointers during the challenge.

great picture poor title, I think thats a mallard not a swan... Gotta give you credit for the timing of this shot none the less and would perhaps just like to see a little colour in the bird without blowing out the feathers on the wings as the feathers really make the shot work 8

Unfortunately, this is one of those that looks better in thumb than full-size. The reflections are just too danged blown-out, so the image seems unbalanced and a little garish. I realize all too well how difficult this is to get right, of course. I just wish with all my heart the most noticeable luminosity were in the feathers, not the sunglare. Regardless, nice capture and a 6 from me.
