 Crop, curves (to make that Tee Shirt backdrop really black) and some painting to eliminate minor reflections in the vase. Also, erased errant petal. I spent a long time on this one (and another which would have also fit the Challenge and which I liked a lot)

I really liked this Challenge.

First off, I think this picture is really great. It fits the challenge well, and is pleasing to the eye.

The two different shades of yellow add intrest and give a balanced feel to the image. I gives me a calm, soothing feeling. This is added to by the lines created by the vase and the petals. I like the way the bottom of the petals seem to become a continuation of the side of the vase, further unifing the elements of this photo.

The lighting here is good. There doesn't seem to be any problems with over/underexposure, and again the colors are great.

The only nitpick I can find with this shot is perhaps the cropping on the bottom. I would have liked to have seen the vase extend all of the way into the corner. I know that's not kosher photography, but just a thought.

This is a great shot. Well done!

I like this but the vase color for some reason, detracts for me. If it were a vivid blue or perhaps bright red, it might work but that's just my taste. Still, well captured and the composition is perfect for the challenge.
