I'm not sure about this photo, its a little strange, lol, but still if you wnted to focus in on the earings why not do that, and focus in on them?

Good DoF, but the focus of the shot is on the woman, and yes, she has some round things.

nice that she's touching her ear, almost pointing at the earring and scarf, can't help but want to see more of her face.
