| Okay, I'll accept that flags are indicators and as such are used as signs. With this image though I can't make out what it is the flag is trying to tell me. At first I thought it was a golf green and hole, but no, that's not right. And I'm not sure about the horizon - maybe the land is on the rise away from you and that explains it, but maybe the horizon's just wonky. Hard to tell. |

| I find the image could use a more defined point of interest. I also find that the colours could pop a little more. |

Isn't your ball going to roll to the right on this green? Or is it the tilted horizon:-) Since it looks like the trees in the background are growing crooked, I think that it is the photo after all.
The crop should have been tighter IMO, to accentuate the sign (the flag). This way it is on par with an average snapshot. Hence the average score:5 |

Practice the putting and you may get your score for this hole down to 11 or possibly 10!
The idea is excellent. There is very little interest in this pic with a bland sky and monochromatic grass. Seeing the number on the flag may have helped. |
