I like the flag and the b&w. Composition is fine, technically nothing major.
Critisism: I don't particularly like the pose of the veteran himself. He looks like he is drinking from a bottle(?). Alos the person in the background is a bit of a disturbance. All this imo, obviously. Good luck!
