Shot during the annual Cache Valley Cruise-In, one of the largest classic car shows. During the last night of the show, there is a sanctioned 'cruise' of all the entries in the show. This year, there were more than 1000 vehicles.
The gentleman on the bicycle is known locally simply as Brent. Everywhere he rides, he is always waving and smiling to anyone he sees.
Technical:
My PSP8 beta expired, so I am trying to use the PS Elements CD that came with my camera. Similar, but not quite the same! As a result, the photo is not quite refined as I might have achieved with PSP.
Adjustments included a crop, levels, hue/saturation/lightness, and unsharp mask. |

| This should have done better. I suppose that not enough people were like inspzil and knew a *Brent* in their community. Hmmm. Great shot, though! |

| Does every town have a guy equivalent to this? The town where I grew up we had a guy called Big Bob. He was very big indeed. Strong as an ox. Mentally he was about 6. Not a particularly good combination. This totally reminds me of him even though he's not big. |

| Too bad you didn't get him waving! I like the lines in this shot and how they lead my eye to bhe upper left and then back again. I also really like the contrast between Brent and his bike and the groovy cars in the background. 9 |
