Nice coversion to B&W. I'm not sure about the composition, though. It seems that the subject is actually the girl in the background, and if so, I think it would be better if she were in focus.

nice idea, would like to see the face to capture the emotion and to give more into the story, nice texture, comp needs work, blacks need work, whites blown, light ok, dof nice, overall could be better

This is a beautiful shot, but you have not maximised its potential with it being on the small side, Resizing to 640- would have I think added to the impact of the picture. I also really like the crop you have made. Bumping up.

nice contrast, the blacks don't totaly go black on the mac gamma. but thats fine i know what it would look like its just a little hazy. the left arm of the subject bothers e it oddly darkened and looks brused...its vey strange and i can't tell if is a natural shadow or if u did something to it, anyhow a dogg around it would really help to my eye, it would be a little less odd and drastic in that tonal area.

I realize what you were going for with the girl in the background but in my opinion I'd rather see a beautiful portrait of the bride instead. I do like the detail in the lace and the tone of the photo.

I like it- the position of the subject, the tint, the contrast. This is going to end up being a top 10.

Without the title, this appears to closely cropped to me. Since the bride is looking out of the frame, there should be some space beyond her face. It just looks like this was meant to be a portrait of the bride and the photographer came up with the concept in post-editing after noticing the figure in the background. This title doesn't save an unsuccessful portrait for me.

I like this, it tells a story different from most wedding photos. I like the post processing too, but I wish tehre was more space to the right for the lady to look into.

I don't quite get your title. Isn't she the bride? Wasn't it "her"? Good pic though 7

Very good shot, something you don't normally see. An excellent addition to the Best of category. I really like the coloring you chose.

Really like the pose and tone. The crop seems a little tight on the top and right though IMHO.
