My wife chose this photo for me. She really likes the soft focus of it. I know that the whole "Joey Lawrence", draganizer effect, or whatever you want to call it, has been overused. I originally edited this when I was trying to branch out my editing, so it has some of those qualities. So I must apologize to those who get easily offended by an overused technique!

For editing, I really can't remember, as it's been a while. I know it has some dodging and buring, sharpening, etc, and if needed, I can attempt to do it over again from the original.

love the softness - very nice work :)

I'm not sure if the softening was done with a filter or photoshop, but it looks great nonetheless. It just works for this photo and the composition you chose. The two foreground horses seem a bit underexposed, but that could just be my monitor. Good work.

This is a beautiful image! I wish the horizon line weren't so close to the horizontal centre of the image, but even with it where it is, the image is very impressive.

the soft focus really works here. my only wish is that the predominant horse didn't have his butt in my face. :) but i like the post-processing effects you've done. very cool.

Love how the the lens/effect that you used to give this photo a soft look - it creates a magical mood that transports us into this dreamy scene of the horses grazing on the open plain. Rich and warm hues also give this photo an appealing look. My only critique is that I think that you could easily go for a tighter crop cutting out some of the sky & right hand portion of the photo. That would keep the focus on the main subjects and make them the literally the center of attention by having them fill more of the frame.

The softness is very effective for this image. Less sky would be more appealing IMO.

Amazing photo. The post processing really adds so much to what was already a great shot. 10

When I give a photo a 10, it is because I feel it is wonderfual all the way around. Therefore, I have no real comment other than to say I gave you a 10!

Nice, but a little overprocessed I suspect. Still going to give an 8 because it's quite lovely.

Nice composition. And I like your processing here. Looks like a painting. And very 'dreamy'. Nice job :-)

AWW Love this. Great soft filter. I might crop out part of the left, so that the white horse doesn't seem quite so centered. Nice sky. The perspective is good. 7

My first full view while wading through the thumbnails. I just love this. The softness is great. The whole feeling is kind of ethereal. It'd be nice if the horses would face you but I know how that works. We always jokes about having a Butts of the Animal Kingdom photo book - they aren't too prone to cooperating. Nice pick.
