 Not a very interesting photo to begin with, but the best that I had. After importing the photo from the Photoshop Camera Raw plugin, I adjusted levels, increased output of just the red channel, lightened up the duck, especially around the face, cropped and did USM several times.

I love the sharpness and the contrast, but the angle is a little ordinary (but not the bird!) and the crop feels too tight. It feels like some of the interest is left out.

I love Muscovy ducks! I grew up around a lot of them (they're quite prolific!). Excellent use of selective color and your detail is exquisite. I'm not crazy about the crop or the border, but this is an exceptionally good shot. Nice work. Bumping up.
