I think this just isn't visual enough. Yes it meets the challenge, but there just isn't quite enough eye candy for me, to make it one of those WOW shots. It has potential and I do like dark photos, but for once, this one's too dark for my taste. NOt horrible, just with it had a bit more. 6 |

For me, this looks more like a piece of hair or string flaming rather than the sun. I do like the off centered composition though. |

I love the part that has the light on the spiral but maybe there is so much space that the visually interesting parts get lost? The image makes me want to zoom in. |

Sorry but not hitting the spot with me, I need something more than a 98% dark frame, I bet I would have liked this if it were more evened out, the flame correctly exposed and not overexposed and if the silhouette had some texture. Just wanted to explain why I gave it a relatively low score of 4. |

So subtle...it takes a minute to figure out what I'm looking at here. I like it because is it different from the other entries. |
