 My last minute submission for speed. A wonderful tropical storm with high winds and heavy rain passed through my city. It may not look like speed...but the blurry calm was created with the high speed of wind and rain.

Beautiful shot! Nice, SUBTLE portrayal of speed.

If only you had marred it by having a doggie run through the lawn, you would have made it ;)

It's an interesting photo but it doesn't really convey the feeling of speed, nor the absence of speed well.

This is a gorgeous image with a great composition. I love the softness of it as well. However, it does not say Speed at all.

this is a nice shot but I am not left with the feeling of speed. Actually I am more relaxed by your excellent image then anything else. Sorry but I rated this image low because I dont feel the theme of the challenge was met. As far as photos go though this is a very nice picture, worth framing and displaying in your den. Nice shot.

I'm sorry but I cannot see how this relates to the challenge. I assume it was still raining at the time and this has give the soft feel which is quite nice. Unfortunately there is jpeg compression where the bench and the tree meet.

Wonderful shot! Wish I could have rated it higher but could not see any kind of speed so this was the highest score I could justify. maybe if I had seen evidence of high winds i could have ranked higher I gave it a 6

Good composition. I like the soft focus and how it adds to the feeling of the picture. But, for me the feeling I get is "rainy afternoon" not speed. 4

I like this shot..the fog/blur/mist...?filter? It's nice and appeals to me. I don't get the feeling of speed.......sorry.

A bit of a stretch for the topic "speed" . I think a photo needs to relate to the topic without a title to explain.
