I do not know under what circumstances you were shooting, but I think if you had gotten closer to the utensils and blurred the background more you would have had a stronger image.

Too chaotic. Maybe if the DOF were shallower?

Maybe a closer view of the utinsils would have given them more impact. They are kind of lost in the busy-ness of the picture
