I was looking for an interesting way to shoot my ties and thought of a snake. Shot a few outside in the leafs but didn't like the outcome. I thoguht the closet was best and fitting for the theme. Stuggled with the light and position/angle. Obviously, I'm still learning.

Bumped up contrast to add drama at the expense of a few blown parts. Ran through NeatImage to reduce noise from poor lighting and movement.

This is a really great idea and nicely shot! As others said, white balance off, and busy which makes it hard to figure out. But great composition, DOF, and angle! (this needs to trade places with the 15th place holder IMO ;)

Creative and fresh take in this challenge. For that I must commend you on. Picture has good tones and I like your choice of DOF. Now how'd you charm the snake?

very clever!! I think that at a different angle, it would have been better and if the "snake" tie was by itself. There is too much clutter in the photo

A SNAKE! I get it... haha. It took my a while though. Very original and creative. I enoy this. .. Perhaps the black, eh shirt?, in the top right just destracts from the ties however... still a good shot.

great concept with the tie as snake! wish the focus were deeper to really have the snake effect pop out at you.

I hope others take the time to really look at this and understand the title. Very creative. Only negative thing is the black in the top right is a little distracting.

GREAT creative! however this is so visually busy it's more distraction than a fun view on "being big". 5

I have a hard time figuring out what's going on in this picture... will come back to it again and look with a fresh mind. :)
