I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "I have a decent idea, so I won't be the only one with this idea." I will also bet that a few people can guess it's me just because I'm one of the few people who have a spare S602 laying around to shoot at. LOL

Shot with a single desk lamp, 60W.

Post shot - I used a magic wand, tolerance 5. I selected the background and everything that came with it. I deleted the background and added black to it. Then I grabbed the history brush and did a bit of bringing the lens shape and camera shape back into the picture. I touched up the flash and cropped, sharpened and submit.

Guesstimate: 5.3 (hoping for much better, but giving up on hoping)

my camera never looked so good. I like this shot a lot and I like how it is emerging from the black.

The only other time I've seen a shot of a 602 that looked similar to this was by bod. Love the picture, love the camera, wish I had thought of it.

I like how the lighting here is just enough to reveal your subject! Oddly, the dark tones do not add much emotional impact, perhaps because the point of view is so "normal."

This sure meets the challenge, but it is not very interesting to look at. Great lighting and focus. good luck.

NICE! And I don't just mean the equipment! Very nicely done shot - the lighting is wonderful, highlighting just enough of the subject to make it interesting. Composition works well for me, but I wouldn't have minded and even closer up shot with just the tiniest bit of the subject fading out of the edges of the frame.

pictures of cameras never do much for me. this is pretty well lit and i like the contrasts it presents, but the subject is completely boring. i wish i could give you some more reasons this picture doesn't connect with me, but i think that's really it. 4.
