| this has some pretty interesting parts to it, but overall i think the subject is just a bit boring and the fact that it fills the frame doesn't really help it's case. it's kind of in-your-face. i like the depth of field and lighting, but i think it's just the subject/crop that detracts. 5. |

| ......a lot of shoes have been shown lately. Certianly a good stilllife subject.... and this is one of the best I have seen. I enjoy the fine detail, clear and sharp. You have brought the mundane subject to life with good composition. I like the crop that shows a tilted, jaunty angle of the shoe, which imparts what a shoe is really like........ something that conforms to what is inside it! I enjoy the pic, good job. |
