Cute, why is it I have the right picture but didn't take it during the submission period? Glad to see someone else does it too. |

I love this self-portrait and those pictures look pretty interesting! Thanks for your comment on my agave image in the Textures challenge, by the way... most people are saying things like 'that's the wrong color, you ought to change it in PS' and 'where's the texture?' so I really loved your reaction. :) I guess it takes someone who knows what agave are like to appreciate that picture. Thanks so much for posting. :) (P.S. My husband is a photographer too and he works primarily in medium and large format, the latter on an old wood and brass Wista. He liked seeing your camera with the red bellows! :) |

Some of those prints you're holding up look pretty incredible! Good job. There really isn't a whole lot to speak of (lighting, composition, etc) but I like this one a lot becuase I think it shows who you really are. It has a lot of personallity. |

This photo seems unorganized, cluttered, with poor lighting and little artistic value, yet it is colorful, interesting to look at, funny, well exposed, cheerful, makes me smile, and I see the subject as being loveable. An informal portrait such as this one tells much more about the person and is more honest in it's depiction of the subject than the formal variety kind, IMO. In addition, this picture tells a story. There is much for the viewer to feast on here. Nice job. |

I just adore the myriad of ways this photograph tells us about you. Makes one feel as if they've known you forever. Your sense of humor puts me at ease, and I have a ready smile on my face looking at this! Really fantastic prints you've got there, btw... |

Ah, a flower pic in the self portraits! Aaaaaaaa! :) Seriously, I love the expression and that it tells a story. I wonder if a white frame would make it even more self-referential, since all the photos IN the photo have one. |

I like it...I like your expression. I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Without a doubt...very expressive!! There is something about people who where hats that reveal a bit of character too.
Lighting: ok
Exposure:ok
Focus:ok
Creativity:quite good.
Composition: good. you included things that support your personality and character.
Background: Good...revealing.
The room is a little cluttered....lol....like my own. It says a lot about you and is perfect for this self portrait.
Good job! |

Hey, those are great shots, why aren't you submitting them?! I especially like the one in the middle with the tree, oh yeah, and your self-portrait looks great too. : ) The red is a bit strong for me, but I still like it! |
