I still say "Wow" when I look at this! I remember being very jealous and even mad at you after reading the details. I still can't believe it only took you 15 minutes. It's just not right! lol A great photo!

Nice concept, works for the challenge but would illustrate "dead center" very well too. Good toning

Great macro work, amazing detail down to the tiny scratches in the coin. Alot of depth too, the lighting and shadows around the raised lettering really make it pop.

My favoritte thing about this shot is all the dings and scratches on the coin. The curve down through the composition is very effective as well :)

Ha! *ahem* Nice composition, and good detail for a macro. I like the gradient in the top right corner - nice trick of the light. I really wish I had the camera with a decent macro mechanism...with mine, it's zoom in as far as possible, hold it as close as possible, and hope the autofocus can handle it.

Ah, i see, a quarter nickel! Very clever. The focus is really awesome, almost to the point of it being slighlty oversharp when it comes to the dust and scratches. Great tones.

This composition is very balanced, and because of that doesn't feel 'off-center' to me, particularly. It's a GORGEOUS crisp macro, beautifully lit, though.
