 Three Giant Chrysanthemums gave their lives for this photo. I pulled the petals off of two yellow working on another concept for this shot and then recruited the white for this spur of the moment thought.

Unsharp mask, Adjustment layers at 40% (if I remember correctly), selected whites for level adjustments (if you say it like that), flattened image, and adjusted saturation slightly.
