| It's real btw. We were the official pageant photographers for Miss Western NY, a feeder pageant for the Miss America crown. |

| Since I can't tell if this is a "setup" I feel it is pretty much the best one of the bunch...I'll give and 8 and may change to a 9 if I don't see others that are better.... |

| You captured a great smile on the winner's face. For me, the blurred glittery background adds to the overall effect of a beauty-type pageant. Bumping up to a 7 after second look. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Relates well to the challenge, but there seems to be significant loss of detail in the women's faces (neatimage?) Sharp focus of both women would strengthen this as well imho. Otherwise, the composition and lighting are well done, with the defocused light circles in the background adding positive contributions to the shot. |

| This is a very good photojournalism capture of the "winning moment". I love how you have captured the expression of happiness and almost a sense of disbelief of the girl as she is being crowned. The hand on the chest and facial expression just speaks, "I can't believe this!!!." |
