Thanks Ed! All fine thanks - but no name yet...

Just having a wander around the site, and found this. So belatedly, congratulations on your third (though there's more yellow about your second, contrarily), and congratulations on the tonality of this shot also, which is masterful. I hope you're all happy and healthy.

Thanks for the kind sentiments! This new little one has made me broody again already - but he really is our last.

Very sweet and endearing image. The hand placement is a bist distracting but I guess you can't do anything about that. Great capture.

Great candid shot, can't really offer any criticism other than it looks to me like the baby's face might be a little out of focus in the full size shot. Still, capturing the moment is often more important than the technical details, and definitely holds true here. 10

I don´t really get the title, the older boy doesn´t look shocked but more intrigued by what I presume is his brand new sibling. Anyway, I assume these are your kids and congratulations with your new born baby. I like this shot a lot, VERY well lit and sharp as a tack and very well fitting for the challenge, wouldn´t be surprised to see this in the top 10. 8 from me.

nice choice of subject, and beautiful models. the angle of the shot makes the child's hand appear disproportionately large. i would be interested in seeing how a darker background would have affected the richness of this photo. imo, all the light colors wash away the impact of this tender scene. for example, even looking at the right side of the shot...the shadowed background makes the child's head pop out at you more than the light side. OR...how would this have looked with a dark background and some off-side lighting options, then done as a b&w to really have those sweet faces pop out?

SOOOOO cute. The colors are wonderful. Great title as well. I wish the crop weren't as it is, but probably in a hospital, so..... it's acceptable. What beautiful children. That is one fine looking newborn. The older one has gorgeous hair and lips!! Congrats to the lucky parents.
