With the notable exception of the two comments made by morons - thanks to everyone who took the time to comment! I am new to this site, new to photography and new to digital with a new camera. I really didn't think this would place so high.

| I had no idea this was a macro! I thought it was a huge statue in a museum setting with perfect lighting provided. I had given you a 7...to me, effort counts a lot plus you tricked me into thinking I was seeing something grand and perfect...raise my 7 in your average to a 9. I'm going to go snack on some crow now. : P |

Cool statue, took a second look before I caught on. Really nice for the most part, minor nit: cheek and upper arm are washed out.

| Very nice. I guess that's a sculpture, but the way it's photographed it looks strangely living. I can almost imagine her breathing! When elements are in shadow, we use our imagination more I suppose. Well done :) I feel like giving this 10. |

| Nice photo. I would have been more impressed if you could come up with a shot of similar quality with real people. I do like this but it falls into my 'of course it's gonna look great with that for a subject' category. I still gave you a good score...but it could have been higher. |
