*Critique Club*
I simply adored this shot when I first saw it during the voting. Its very well thought out. Someone mentioned the shoes being set up, need to come to my house there is usually at least one pair of shoes near there and usually little boy's clothes too.
It is in relatively good focus, the dof is good. The only thing that really could be better is the lighting, but I know bathrooms aren't always the best of places for good lighting near the floor.
Definately meets the challenge. Well done and remember to put the seat down when you finish...sorry I couldn't help myself...I have to agree I would have loved to see this finish higher!

| In poor taste, in my opinion. Vertical lines need to be straight so the viewer doesn't feel as if he's tipping over. |

| Very amusing, and yet another unique liquid. I like the shoes in the foreground. I think it would be more focused if you could get a dark backdrop behind the toilet to block out the bathtub, and crop out the cupboard above the toilet. |

| This is not one of my favorites for the week based upon visual appeal and technical specs. But... I give it a 10 anyway. It is very creative, well executed, and I have three little boys myself --- been there, done that, but without the pictures!! LOL |

Interesting shot. Do you always take your shoes off to pee? =o)
It feels like it is a little tilted especially when you look at the shelf thing (camera height?). A little bit of grain here too. |

....it, I suppose, qualifies as meeting the challenge, though not by much, and also I'm dubious that it's really what it depicts and that the B&W wasn't just to cover that up.
...
You know, it really takes a lot to qualify as tasteless on my personal metric of that standard, but I do think you've managed. |

| Ok, on one hand, it's rather vile and disgusting... but on the other hand, it's really quite well done! The shoes are a nice touch, although I'm not sure why you need to take your shoes off in order to take a leak, unless you have a habit of whizzing on your feet, but then again I guess I don't want to know. In any case, I guess I'm leaning toward liking this shot a lot. The nice lighting, good use of B&W, and father & son bonding theme is rather compelling :) - 9 |

| Yuk! But funny. I like the joke, but the set-up feels a little too forced, with the shoes arranged neatly in an unnatural place (where, with a touch of bad luck, they might receive some of the liquid). Otherwise, nice tonal contrast and a good capture of the (bowel?) movement. |
