 Well, I almost blew it. My original plan was to mix an activated chemical light with the beer, but it wouldn't dissolve and sank to the bottom. Shaking the bottle mixed it somewhat, but it made the beer cloudy and the green glow was hard to color correct. Hmm... gotta try another approach.

This time, I strapped a Christmas light to the back of the bottle (the cord is taped straight back) and blocked off stray light with aluminum foil and duct tape, so the light would only shine forward through the beer. The "beer" is actually ginger ale and food coloring because I only had one and botched it with the chemical light. I used a sheet of foam core to bounce a second Christmas light off the side of the bottle to illuminate the neck and cap. Under the circumstances, I think it turned out pretty well. ;-)

Processing: Crop, Levels, Unsharp Mask, slight Channel Mixer for saturation.

The lighting on this works well, especially in light of the "Light" that is highlighted in the label. Very nice image...in "light" of everything. :-)

This looks good, but I would recomend some back light on the upper half of the bottle to separate it more from the background.
