| I like the contrast between the rough, dark road and the soft beauty of the rose. Not sure about the title, but the picture itself is very good. |

| Excellent capture of the softness of the flower. If the upper left had been solid green, that would have made a nice contrast as well. |

| I'm not usually one to question flower shots (I submit too many of them myself, and like them), but the question that popped into my mind here is WHY? I guess I don't quite get the point. Technically a good photo though. |

| This is a beautifully composed challenge, but the placement of a rose on asphalt feels like a "save" to meet the On the Road challenge. |

| I thought of doing this idea, so you get extra points for that ;) I like the vertical composition, the road actually makes a neat background. I wonder though if turning it more towards the long part of the road and filling up the rest of the background with road would have simplified it, rather than having that small amount of grass in the corner. |

| Very nice photograph of a rose. I can see the road. Even though these 2 things might not normally be seen together I really like the contrast of textures in this photograph. |

| A flower on the road? It the flower shot was not so good, I would give you a four. you are taking this a little to literally. It could have been beside the road. Still it is not a scale model so 8 |

| This is a beautiful rose... The composition and everything about this photo is quite nice! I suppose this rose is photographed on the road... The surface looks like asphalt so I guess this shot is qualified for the 'on the road' challenge. I must admit that I don't understand the link between this photo and the challenge topic. I think that this rose could have been photographed under this lighting and in this particular composition on just about any surface.... |

| Nothing personal, but I'm sick of flowers. Put a rose anywhere and it will make a beautiful picture. Nice color contrast...the green in the corner is a nice touch too. |
