Inspiration from a bottle.. literally! Two thirds of the bottle of wine in the photo I came up with the idea after a few attempts of taking photos of the wine in the glass I was drinking.

Difficulties I came across was clearing enough of the kitchen to avoid distraction in the reflection of the bottle which acted like a fish eye essentially. I already spot one fault - the tripod. Its glaringly obvious. *shrugs*

I had fun taking the photo and I quite liked the idea.
Taken with D70, 60mm F2.8 lens, tripod
Set at 60mm F3.3 1/2.5 ISO 200

Enjoy

Jason, I really think this is a strong shot, and very creative. I would have thought that this would have ranked higher. I wonder if some didn't look hard enough and missed the reflection.

The reflection is a good idea. Thhis DOF would work without it too.

This is a FANTASTIC picture! I love this type with wine bottles. At first glance it's a very refined picture wothry of being in a wine conniseur magazine. Then we see the reflection of the frat boy chugging another bottle of wine. This is so great! I hope you place! 10, ALL THE WAY!

I love the little "surprise" in this one. I wonder how many people will see it?

lol, i love this one! it isn't exactly the most difficult photo to take, but the fact that it turned out soo well with no light streaks, or anything like that, i like it! one question though.... is that a cigerette in the background??? i would really like to know!! lol

Ah.......an Australian treasure. I find it interesting that your title is punctuated with an exclamation rather than a question. This makes sense, since the bottle appears empty of this delectable beverage. An exaggerated demand for more makes good sense. Oh, yea...and I did notice the reflection in the bottle. Very nice. Is the subject named "Jacob?"

heh, that's subtle. I'm afraid lots of people aren't gonna see it in the flash voting. Is that a washing machine in the background?!?
