I too feel that this should have scored higher. This is a beautiful and delicate representation of a sympathy card. I love the processing that you did--excellent job! I wouldn't change a thing. I have no idea why this did not score in the high 6 range. I just don't get it. Sorry I couldn't give you a better critique. I really don't see anything at all I would change. Better luck next time I guess.

| nice - i almost used this exact type of flower as my card. very pretty - i like the way the background flower is dead / wilted .. i'm assuming you planned this (sympathy) .. extra points there ..let's go 8! |

One of the more emotive cards of the challenge!
There are so many different meanings to this picture.
I love the quality of the photograph, as the fron flower is in perfect focus and the back looks more like a painting. (and I always love shallow DOF shots)
But what's making it so unique IMO is the colors. The bright colors of the front flower bursting through the gray...
I hope you make this one available for prints, incase I need a sympathy card. |

| A good fit with the challenge. Nicely composed and good colours. I really wish you could have cleaned up the flower of the little imperfections, especially the one purple dot. |
