| interesting choice to focus just on the mouth, but I'm struggling to figure out why the lighting is set on the hand and not the source of the sound (the mouth). |

| yes! this looks loud indeed. I like the crop in that it focuses the attention on the mouth and the cupped hands and makes it easy to "hear" the yell. I like the space of the right for the sound to fill. Wish we could either see more of the nose or not see it at all. The light on the hand looks very nice - but I wish it were illuminating the mouth - that would "tell the story" better. The photo is not after all of a hand, nut of the sound coming out of the mouth. |

HOME ALONE 37!
*ahem* Pardon me. It does meet the topic, but it's a little on the bland side -- white shirt and pale background and even the paleness of the skin on the left side. This may have been deliberate to emphasize the mouth but as the neutral space takes up so much of the photo it works against that in my view. |

| 10 for concept, 6 for execution: 7 overall. :-> It seems kind of grainy and flat, somehow. I hear the photo (which is my major grading criteria for this contest). |
