Love this photo.Takes me back to my younger days when I was working on my grandpa's farm. It was work back then, but I miss it now. Thanks for the memories!

Mmm... kind of conveys an idle (not idLING, but 'off') tractor engine on first impression because of how hard it is to see the smoke against the clouds. If the smoke stood out more it would be better. Also, honestly, the horse in the background is distracting; my mind keeps saying 'Ooo, horsie!' rather than focussing on the other things. The angle on this is probably part of the problem; the placement of the smoke is such that the bulk of the tractor (and the horsie!) keep drawing the eye away from it. (Nice horsie! Is it a working horse or one for riding or both?) (See what I mean?)
That having been said, the concept is good; those things get LOUD. |

| I like this picture with the horse watching in the background. I'm not really thinking sound when I look at this although I can tell the tractor is running because of the exhast coming from the top. However, I love the colors and how the trees frame the top. The sky is beautiful. The focus is great and shows wonderful detail. It's a great farm photo. 8 Good luck in the challenge. |
