If the soft focus is intentional, it works against the title. The stubble, unkempt hair, and frown work great; but the eyes and soft focus are too kind for "grumpy." |

Awww, poor guy...Was this taken on a Monday? :-) I'm grumpy on Mondays too. Overall, I think you did a nice job. A bit more...crispness or better lighting and this would give it some extra..."punch" for me. |

The title says it all. Good use of lighting. Might just be too centered. Filling the frame using more of angle would resolved this issue. (7) |

The low angle on this shot has put the collar and chin in focus but the eyes are soft which is a pity. |

Wonderful expression. Lighting isn't to bad..I just don't care for the background...get farther away from your backdrop when shooting portraits. |
