Funny thing is, that's about what time this pic was taken.

Aperature should have read f2.9 (darn fingers)

Thanks for your comment SJ. :)

Really nice composition, but the blown out sky really detracts from the overall appeal IMHO. I like the kudzu covered trees framing the industrial complex, and the reflection is very nice. I just think that the lighting for this time of day was against you. Good eye for spotting this - you might consider going back and reshooting it around 6pm (I find natural light to be pretty good in the early evening).

thanks to all who voted and those who took the time to leave comments. :)

Some don't see my vision on how this relates to branches, so I'll try to clarify. There's two distict branches here, one being nature and the other being industry and how they are colliding in this shot.

One more thing.. I'm honored that someone has added this pic to their favorites!!! That's a first for me! Woohoo!!

I don't really understand how this relates to branches, maybe it's just me. The lighting is good, and the focus is good.

Try using "saturation" for more interesting color.

A good shot of the plant/factory whatever it is, but doesn't fit the challenge, since the trees seem incidental to the main subject, and says nothing relating to branches of any kind.

Like the imagery you were after...the reflection is cool and the natural framing great....for some reason there are so many good things about the shot it tends to seem busy. Regardless - Nice Job!!

Nice idea but a pity that the silos/buildings are so blown out, maybe this would have been better if it had been shot at a different time of day when the light was falling on the trees more evenly as well so that you could have had a more even exposure?

Good reflection, framing, and composition, but the light kind of falls flat, and the focus seems to be on the foliage on the bank instead of the entire shot being sharp.
