I think this is a case, given the challenge title, where you should have upped the contrast. The tonal range is not as rich as it could be, especially the blacks at the front of the engine between the cowcatcher and the circular part where the 484 sign is. |

Some nice areas of contrast. Some areas seem similar in grayscale values. |

Hmmm...not quite my definition of high contrast. It seems to me to be lacking a true black, it seems to have only a dark gray. Good photo though...6 |
