another lovely shot. I can almost feel the softness, which in B&W "feels" like thin paper to me. Beautiful tones, and composition.

Wow. Very nicely captured whites. :) Well done..white is so hard to get without blowing out, but you have managed it here. great!

Absolutely love this! The detail on the petals is amazing and the background/dof is great as well. one of my favorites so far. Very high score:)

Beautiful gauzy layers of petals - very nice in B&W. I'm uncomfortable with the composition, the way the large flower is cropped on the right, and the flecks of light in the background are distracting. I would try either cropping more of the large flower off which would emphasize the smaller one more, and bring the viewers eye to the great detail texture in the large flowers petals. Or reshot and try to include the whole large flower - oerhaps in controller contitions with a solid background.

Nice focus, clean, tidy, good contrast with the background. The flowers pop, as if they were glued to my monitor.

Hmm. The size and angle make the shot feel unbalanced. I understand needing to highlight the size of the bloom on the right but I can't help but feel there had to be a way to make the result feel less awkward.

Didn't think I'd be giving a flower a 9 but this is great.

Great DOF. For most flowers I like to see the focus around the (stamens) middle of the flower. Ususally the most interesting part. Great tone and detailon the petals. I think maybe using the rule of thirds on the larger flowers middle area instead of the smaller one would command it more attention. But that is one opinion
