Can you believe you received four 1s? What were they thinking...it must have been the model that turned them off! Maybe the cat hair on my dress was visible?

| Very nice and charming . The clothing and the hands in the air give a sense of suspension. Personally I would have included the left side of the carpet because the strong top lighting would have aided the illusion of floating. |

| Great concept! The illusion works well here and the composition is good! I might have made the background more 'lofty' (sky and clouds...) though? But good set up and extra points for originality! |

One of the most original I've seen so far! To bad ya couldn't have the whole leading edge of the carpet showing. I'd like to see the set up as I did something similar though much weaker for the Movie Title challenge!

| Good illusion or trick photography. I like the colours and contrast but the model looks a bit uncomfortable or staged. |

| this is definitely one of the more effective illusions. the model looks just the part, and the outfit is great! I like the exposure, too - good lighting and detail on the subject with a darker but still visually interesting background. this one's in my top 5. |

| now where did you fine a genie to use in a challenge? I would have liked to have seen more of the carpet and background - zoomed out a bit is i guess what i am trying to say (thought that may have ruined the illusion??) |

| This is a great, interesting, and unique shot. I just wish the background was a little less clear, perhaps more of a blur, and the colors were more bold and bright. The carpet needs some reds! :) |

| Very cool idea and you captured a good expression. The execution is a tad off though IMHO - I have a little trouble seeing the carpet as flying. BUT, still a great shot. |

First Impression: Strong composition, but the up the nose angle hurts it a bit. The model being more colourfull than the carpet feels a bit wrong too.
Was I fooled? I love the idea. 2 things trip it up imho. The busy static tree background (maybe som e motion blur?) and the bottom corner of the carpet being missing.
Still nice idea though. |
