What? Only 13th place for such a cool image?!?!? You were robbed!
I'm going to have to copy your idea for a challenge someday. Perhaps I can win a ribbon using your idea!

I like this image a lot. It has that "matrix" feel to it. A little minor specks of dust and debris but nothing that takes away from the overall feel of this photo :) |

LOVE this shot - scored it a 9. I seem to recall you throwing this image up for additional critique and "PS play". I also seem to recall that there was a version that increased the detail on the skin and maybe got rid of the "island" beneath the pinky - and thinking that those modifications made it perfect. Not that it was far off the mark to start with! I think this was/is not only very creative, but also very emotive. To me, this shot screams humanity. Very nice job. |

The skin tones of the hands are a little put offish to me. Is it a real hand or fake? If it's real, you got some color issues. If it's fake it explains things a little. Still well done even if it needs work. Try reshooting it under different lighting and you'll get one that makes everyone go 'Wow!'

for an illusion challange you have certainly hit the preverbial nail on its head.
I like this a lot, the colour makes this for me, its vile yet strangely compelling |

Love the stillness of the water, the colour and reflection, it all works to make a great image. The small part of the hand/finger visible under the pinky finger and reflection of the thumb is the only thing that slightly distracts from the composition. |

It's really a nice illusion and well thought out, hand/fingers a little overexposed if if from a dead person..maybe you meant it that way.. |

A good idea with interesting use of composition. The image feels a little soft to me though, and I think more contrast and a touch of saturation would have helped. Good luck! |
