 I gave alot of thought as to whether this picture would be accepted or disqualified since it is a picture of art. I felt that in and of itself it was not a literal picture of a piece of artwork but involved positioning, lighting, and creativity in composition and backround creating the mood and subject of the final picture. The subject of the challenge also defined the acceptability of this picture. The picture itself was taken at the Baltimore Artscape. It was a portion of a particular artists cubicle. I loved the colors and the arrangement of the artwork. I felt it was a picture in and of itself. The final picture was cropped, slightly rotated, increased saturation, contrast and sharpness.
