| What a great idea to use your monitor to create backlighting, atmosphere and mood. I'm going to have to try this here soon! Excellent image. You are certainly an exceptional talent on DPC. You've been marked as my favorite! |

Aaaw - now I'm wondering - those curves in the background - aren't they another piece of glass? If they are just an image on a monitor I'm a little less impressed - I like the resulting image just as much either way but was particularly impressed with what I thought was the use of two different peices of glass. Will you clarify here on on PM?

| Bad-a$$ indeed. I think I would have cropped the very bottom of the glass out but this is a straight up 10 anyway. That background rocks. |

This is a lovely image - I love the juxtaposition (oh my god, hark at me, I'm using the word "juxtaposition" with a straight face) of the glass, water and ice with the bowl/ vase behind.
I like the curves against the straight edges of the ice cubes - the curves behind really are spectacular - especially in the gradiation of colour.
I'm not really into blue as a colour but this is a wonderful image.

| fun photo and fun title. nice focus. only suggestion: see how the red bands come out at the top of the bottom right ice cube - if that could have been made to happen on the other cubes that would have been a very cool prism sort of effect. |

| Like this because of its painterly qualities. The use of perfect lighting contributed a lot, imho, to achieve that painterly result. The interesting background, is that more glass? Emphasis of the blue tone, supplemented with the red, works very well. Good composition. 8 |

| Very cool. Great composition, and I think the background (highly saturated colors and flowing lines) will do well in the competition. There's a strong dynamic in this shot that grabs your eye, leads it all around the frame and keeps you wanting more. Nice work. |

| That's a really bizarre photoshopped background. Just the glass on a plain background, or with interesting shadows, I'd grade higher. |
