The best of this group of floating temperature globes (or what ever they are). You really captured the floating. Very sharp on the focus and the back wall blurs the background well. |

I like the way that a scene is captured in the interior bubble of the float and I also really like the blurred effect of the glass behind it next to the sharp clean lines of the float glass. Could do with a little more light on the metal tag but otherwise excellent.

I like the depth of focus and the simplicity of this photo. Nice job. |

Really nice work. I like the contrast in tones between the glass bauble, the metal '76' and the wonderful background. |

I like how the trees and sky in the background are visible in the glass while blurry in the background. Good job. |

One of the 5 ten's I gave in the glass challenge. The shallow DOF is what gives this image it's boost! It makes your main subject stand out. Fantastic detail in the glass and reflections. |

Considering the difficulty of this shot, I give you an 8. I wish the tag were a little brighter and possibly a little more light on the whole thing. |

I especially like how you can see the landscape through the middle of the glass! The tag looks a little too dark, but overall this is a great photo! |

Good except for exposure on the metal tag. |

Excellent shot. Quite beautiful. I have one of these thermometers and have never been able to do a good job photographing it, but I've seen a couple of creative ideas here on DPC. I really like this. I think if the colored liquid were somehow "lit up" it would be a 10. Very close to perfect. 9 |

forgive me if I'm wrong but this looks WAY spot edited for blur in the background. Cool shot, but that's a no-no. (I'm not voting you down for it 'cuz I don't know) |

Nice idea, well executed. I even like the background, although one with some strong bold colours might be interesting too. |
