Beautiful. Must have been some great challenge for it to place 18th.
05/14/2003 05:39:19 AM
I thought this would have placed better too. Great job anyway. =-)

Damn DPCers, this is a really nice shot. Guess people can't understand it... nice flash control, i am sure that took a while to get it right with the slow exposure.

cool shot, what did you use for the light motion blur?
05/13/2003 02:39:22 PM

This is so original and creative, the light pen effect gives your pic impact!

Very soothing blues.

I really enjoyed your submission, it should place well in this week's competition. 7 Morgan

I like the bottle, but I think it would have been better by itself.
05/09/2003 02:52:18 PM
I love the color in this one. I'd like to know how you did it.
05/09/2003 01:55:21 PM
Excellent shot. The light takes away from the "Glass" theme but still one of the better shot of the challenge.

absolutely awesome, i do however wish that there was some alternate color going on here. all blue has me wishing there were some accents of some sort - 8

I had this one at a lower score originally, but just had to pull it up to a 9 after looking at that light trail a few times. :) I really like this picture for it's high interest value. Any picture that makes me look twice deserves a high score in my book!

Love it! Neat light, wonder what you did to create that effect (laser pen?). Great colors and setup. 9

Great feel from this photo. I like this 5

I think the light squiggle is a little too much and it detracts from the photo, though it does add interest. I think it might have been better if you only had the portion of the squiggle that's in the vase and not continued above it. I don't know how much control you had over that though. Still, an interesting photograph and good lighting and exposure.

Fantastic shot, love it! I wish I could get shutter control on my camera :( gj!
05/08/2003 04:26:59 AM
Nice

If it what I think - the trail of a firefly I commend you on a thoughtful picture.
05/07/2003 09:03:59 PM
I love this.
05/07/2003 03:24:07 PM
wow that's awsome.
Did you catch it in the vase and have a long shutter?
...or did you put sugar in the vase ;)
05/07/2003 03:21:44 PM
I don't know what the cool squiggly lines are but it looks like Barabra Eden might pop up. Very nice!
05/07/2003 01:31:19 PM
Fabulous

If this isn't this week's winner I will cut off my hand and express mail it to you!! My only 10.

cool shot.... I think I would prefer it without the dancing fireflies though..... also, not sure about the surface you have the vase on, IMHO it would look better if this was completely flat... good luck Todd.

Would like to see shot without the 'electricity'
05/07/2003 06:36:49 AM
Cool shot....pretty blue also.
05/07/2003 12:13:24 AM
did you use laser pointer on this one? excellent picture!
05/06/2003 09:18:36 PM
i love laser pointers (I'm assuming that's how you did this). nice shot. not too many distracting hot spots on the glass like many of the others I've seen so far.
05/06/2003 08:17:14 PM
Nice solid shot. I like the effect with the light, I also like the shades of blue that are present in the shot. I thihnk a white border would have added a bit of contrast to this shot so it wasn't quite so overwhelmingly blue. THe shot is crisp and clear and meets the challenge well. Good job.
