 I have a collection of Cranberry Glass. I choose this small vase from the collection to photograph. I tried to get all the reflections in the glass shelves and and back of the curio cabinet.

For what it's worth, I gave it a, 8, and would have possibly gone as high as 9 if there were less random speckles all over it (post-processing might have fixed it?).

The graininess of this shot implies a lack of available light I suspect. Lighting glass well without reflection of the lightsource is very difficult. Also I think the border is too close to the top of the vase.

Would have loved to see this lit against a black backgorund instead of the reflection.

Photo looks grainy -- iso too high?

Interesting vase. Seems very grainy. It's off center in both directions and the frame in the backgroud is on an angle. Was there an oportunity to improve the location?
There are a lot of reflections and flaring, which could have been part of the vase if the overall presentation was more clean.

The lighting is bothersome on this photo, you have too many lights glaring off the object. Interesting idea with the glass reflections in the mirror. Watch what sorrounds the vase, the extra stuff takes away from it, control your lighting for a more effectual picture. Also watch your graininess, not sure whether you cropped or just had a very high iso, but keep that in mind.

Lovely color glass. The composition is distrating. A simpler background would be better, and better focus too.

nice shape and play of light... interesting reflection on the bottom and not just in the mirror... i wish it wasn't cropped so close on top...

Way too noisey, too many reflections (peekaboo, I see you!). I like the perspective, and what I just realized is the reflection (good in this case :-) ) of the vase in the mirror behind. Nice try, give NeatImage a shot.

Hey, I was going to do something similar. Beautiful glass, I wish it had a little more saturation, and it is a bit grainy.
