| Excellent shot. I really like the way the clouds and areas of sky create such strong leadig lines. I like the silhouette of the photographer and the way he is against the white cloud rather than blue sky. I like the detail and colour in the foreground brash ice. I like the edge formed by the dark gravel/ pebbles and how it's echoed by the sky getting darker at the top. I also identify with how this relates to the theme as it reminds me of the thrill of taking images on a recent dream trip to Antarctica. Great shot. 9 |

| Nice use of a polarizer, too bad this challenge was with basic editing as those clouds could have been a killer with some dodge/burn but very very nice nevertheless. |

| I love the placement of the ice pieces as almost the basis for the sky to "grow out of them." The figture to the right grounds the image and I like him being in silhouette and not in color. The blue is stunning. The shadows along the ground and to the right are very effective in combination with the lighting. Perfect use of a simple black framing technique. 9 |
