The focus is too far off and it is difficult to tell what the object is. A bit overexposed in places, too... |

Attractiveness=0
Kind of small but still gets the point across. Practice with your depth of field, I think this may have been better if the fringe in the front was either in focus with the back blurry or not so much blurry up front. Your colors seem a little on the dull side too.

The lack of focus brings this shot down. Next time try moving it into better light, even if that means putting it outside and be careful not to shoot closer than the minimum distance that your camera is capable of focusing at. Even if it means cropping a bit of the excess off in Photoshop because you are a bit further away. |

hmmm...I like the idea of the lampshade but it's so out of focus I don't feel the texture. |

I'm sorry, but there isn't any portion of this shot that is in focus - if you can't see the detail in the fringe, then you can't tell the texture, either. 2 |
