| Have you tried adjusting the curves or levels of this image? Even an autolevels and autocontrast could have improved here, but could spoil the warm light. |

| Usually a shot cropped this close will not show motion blur. Perhaps you are trying to accomplish too much in one small frame. |

Great shot here, nice and crisp focus on the eye.
Maybe a higher shutter speed to capture the tongue instead of it being blurred. 9 |

| I wish you had brightened this up a bit and either backed out or cropped it just to the eye. |
